Gypsie Blu ("we", "us", "our") operates gypsieblu.com from 209 W 38th Street, Suite 806, New York, NY 10018, United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from our store, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order, create an account, subscribe to emails or contact us, we collect your name, email address, billing and delivery addresses, phone number and order details. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment provider's systems and are never stored on our servers.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the store we collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view and how you interact with them, using cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
- To process, produce, fulfil and deliver your orders, and to send order and shipping confirmations

- To send marketing emails or texts where you have asked to receive them, which you can stop at any time

- To understand how our store is used, and to improve our products, site and advertising

Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with the service providers who make the store work, and only with what they need:
- Shopify — our ecommerce platform, which hosts the store and processes orders
- Payment processors — to take payment and screen for fraud
- Shipping carriers, including USPS and DHL Express — to deliver your order
- Klaviyo — to send email and SMS marketing where you have subscribed
- Google (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising) — to measure site performance and to show and measure advertising
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will tell you.
Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the store and keep your cart, and analytics and advertising cookies that help us understand traffic and measure campaigns. Advertising partners may use these to show you our products elsewhere on the web.
You can accept or decline optional cookies through the banner on our site, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the store from working. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and for the period our tax and accounting obligations require. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a minimal record so we do not contact you again.
Security
Our store runs over an encrypted connection and our providers hold your data on secured servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account password confidential and tell us at once if you think your account has been used without permission.
Your rights
If you live in the United States, depending on your state you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of your information as those terms are defined by your state's law.
If you live in California, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you these rights, together with the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. You may also ask us once a year for details of any personal information we disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
If you live in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal information, the right to data portability, and the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. We process your information to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, on the basis of your consent for marketing, and on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating and improving the store.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@gypsieblu.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will verify your identity and respond within the time your law allows, and within 45 days at the latest. You may use an authorised agent where your law permits.
Marketing choices
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any marketing text. Transactional messages about an order you have placed will still be sent.
International transfers
We operate from the United States, so if you order from outside the US your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard for those transfers.
Children
Our store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our site may link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant we will tell subscribers by email.
Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
